Former Onkaparinga councillor Rob de Jonge has been charged with stalking and breaching an intervention order.
The once Marion mayoral hopeful faced court at Christies Beach on Tuesday following his arrest on stalking charges.
According to 7NEWS, the incident occured between June 10 and 16.
Fleeing from the network’s cameras, he insisted he “didn’t do anything wrong”.
In 2022, while seeking re-election to Onkaparinga council, Mr De Jonge put up an offer of Jack Daniel’s whisky to anyone with information about his stolen campaign truck, which he had parked on the Southern Expressway.
Mr De Jonge, who served as Onkaparinga councillor for eight years after his election in 2006, is currently out on bail.
