Former Adelaide MasterChef star Larissa Sewell to join Callum Hann on Seven weekend lifestyle show, Discover, in 2025
There’s a new celebrity chef joining Callum Hann on Seven’s weekend lifestyle program, which returns on Saturday.

Former MasterChef finalist Larissa Sewell will live a childhood dream when she makes her debut on Channel 7’s lifestyle show Discover this weekend.
The popular foodie will join fellow MasterChef alumnus Callum Hann on the new season, which will again feature host Kelly Golding, plus presenters including Teigan Nash, Andrew Hayes and gardening expert Brenton Roberts.
“I’ve dreamed about this forever,” said Sewell, who finished third on Ten’s reality cooking series in 2023.
“When I got that call from Channel 7, I just about dropped the phone. I told them that I’d been preparing for this moment since I was a little girl, standing on a chair in my parents’ kitchen, pretending I had my own cooking show.
“It’s just magical. Pinch me please.”
While Hann is in Melbourne filming the new season of MasterChef: Back To Win, Sewell will show off her chops in the kitchen, whipping up a series of simple, budget-friendly meals that “don’t feel budget”.
“Everything I make is about real food with big flavour, using beautiful South Australian ingredients,” she said.
“Stepping in to do these cooking segments definitely feels like I’ve inherited some big (and very well-seasoned!) chef boots to fill.
“I’ve always looked up to Callum; he’s so ridiculously talented, and just an all-round good human.”
Saturday’s season premiere episode will feature Nash exploring Vietnam, Hayes will catch up with Crows superstar Isaac Cumming, while Golding will meet Beauty and the Beast musical theatre star Rohan Browne.
Golding said it was great to be back on air with an “inspiring” new season.
“From incredible overseas adventures to delicious delicacies and everything in between, we can’t wait to share it all with viewers from Saturday,” she said.
