Friends have paid tribute to a 23-year-old “beautiful angel” who was killed in a horror crash near Two Wells.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Mallala Rd and Navvy Hill Rd about 7.15am on Friday after reports a Fuso bus and Ford sedan had collided.

Chloe Emma Glasson has been identified as the passenger of the car who was killed at the scene.

Housemate Jai Matter-Hedges, 20, from Evanston met Chloe in 2021 through work at Coles Gawler Green but soon afterwards they and some other friends became housemates.

Mr Matter-Hedges told The Advertiser all the Andrews Farm housemates spent the majority of 2022-2033 together and they developed a great friendship.

“My first impression was that Chloe was a very outgoing, hard working girl with a bright and positive attitude day in and day out. And she had a joyful laugh,” he told The Advertiser.

“At times when us housemates were struggling she would go out of her way to put food on the table for everyone.

She brought people together, and she was a great cook and made the best potato bake ever, accompanying that often with homemade schnitzels.”

Mr Matter-Hedges shared Chloe had an adventurous personality and she always had aspirations for travelling the world.

But Mr Matter-Hedges believed her greatest strength was venturing out to find happiness for herself.

“She told me once ‘happiness can be found everywhere, you just have put yourself out there and find it’,” he said.

“She was the main impact on my development of my positive mindset, she made realise just how great life can be no matter the cards that are dealt.

“She is one of the most treasured souls I’ve had the chance to have in my life. I won’t ever forget her.”

Meegan Kelly took to Facebook to honour Ms Glasson as the “most beautiful” person. “I’m devastated to hear that ur now a beautiful angel in the sky,” Ms Kelly wrote.

“I will remember our car ride home chats, talking bout how long our nails had grown out and our random banter bout life.

“To my noodle loving friend till we meet again rest easy.”

“Rest in peace you beautiful soul,” Ms O’Connor wrote.

Julianne Watson wrote: “fly high fly free beautiful”.

Floral tributes were laid at the scene of the crash at Korunye.

The driver of the sedan, a 22-year-old Freeling man and the other passenger, a 19-year-old Davoren Park woman, were flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment, with the passenger being treated for serious injuries.

Police officers at the scene said the bus was on its normal morning school run.

The driver of the bus, a 36-year-old Pooraka man was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
