CoCo Bubble Tea opens new location in Salisbury Downs shopping centre

Hollywood Plaza has welcomed a new store – but drinks aren’t the only thing you’ll find with this bubble tea offering.

A northern suburbs shopping centre has welcomed a new bubble tea shop fitted out with amusements while you sip.

A new CoCo Bubble Tea location opened its doors to the public on Monday at Hollywood Plaza in Salisbury Downs.

The new bubble tea shop is located near the popular Jive Cafe, and features indoor seating facilities with alongside a variety of token-taking claw machines.

“Hollywood Plaza is excited to introduce CoCo Bubble Tea … come and sip something spectacular,” the centre wrote in its announcement social media post.

The centre began its $20m renovations in 2023 following the acquisition of the centre by property management group LAS Group in 2021 for roughly $85m.

Coco joins the ranks of some of the new additions to the centre which include Cotton On, MyCar, Onaki Sushi Train, The Optical Superstore and Bahkmi Lim Noodle Project in its first location north of the city.

CoCo Bubble is a global brand that originated in New York in 2011, but has continued to open new locations across Australia and the state.

Their menu includes a range of milk, fruit and seasonal teas, and even offers coffee brews in their range.
