A Cabra Dominican College teacher who brought “warmth and energy” to her students and colleagues has been remembered following her death on Friday.
The Catholic school, at Cumberland Park, shared a post to social media announcing the death of “devoted teacher” Roslyn Patterson following a battle with cancer.
“Her warmth, energy, sense of humour and genuine care touched the lives of countless students and colleagues,” the school posted.
“Ros will be dearly missed by all who knew her.”
“We pray that Ros now rests in God’s eternal peace and that her family and all who loved her find comfort in God’s embrace during this difficult time.”
Ms Patterson had taught English, humanities, child studies and food technology since she began working at the school in 2012.
She also supported school camps and community initiatives.
Ms Patterson was an old scholar and former boarder whose family had a longstanding connection to Cabra.
