Australia Day neo-Nazi display: Nazi symbol charge dropped against WA man Mason Robbins
A man arrested after an Australia Day parade in Adelaide’s CBD has been cleared of all criminal allegations in court.

SA’s police force must pay the legal fees for a man previously alleged to have displayed a Nazi symbol during an Australia Day protest, a court has ruled.
On Tuesday, Western Australia man Mason James Robbins, 30, appeared via telephone in the Adelaide Magistrates Court after his Australia Day arrest.
Prosecutors told the court they were seeking to withdraw all charges against him, laid after a march by black-clad National Socialist Network members through Adelaide’s CBD on Australia Day.
Travis Moran, for Mr Robbins, told Magistrate Patrick Hill he and SAPOL had agreed the police would foot the bill for his client’s legal fees.

Mr Robbins, was one of 15 people who faced court after being arrested for allegedly disrupting peaceful and prearranged marches on January 26.
The men, from SA, Victoria, NSW, Queensland, WA and Tasmania, were charged with offences ranging from carrying an item of disguise to using a Nazi symbol.
The Clarkson man is no longer charged with one count each of carrying an offensive weapon or article of disguise and displaying a Nazi symbol.
Mr Robbins is not longer subject to a court ordered bail agreement, and no longer banned from entering the Adelaide CBD and contacting members of the National Socialist Network.
The 30-year-old was the second of multiple men charged over the Australia Day parade to face court for the second time, and the second to be cleared of any wrongdoing, after a loitering charge was dropped against Adelaide man Shannen Bartel.
The arrests came after the introduction of SA’s tough new anti-Nazi laws, which declare the controversial NSN symbol to be criminal.
