From hearts and tongues, to wild boar and croc feet, this new store stocks more than 165 products and specialises in raw, natural and preservative-free items.

Wild boar, croc rib, and lamb tongue may not sound appealing to most humans, but these meal options at a new Toowoomba business are set to have the tails of its main customer base wagging.

Pet Mince Direct recently opened the doors to its new store at the Bridge Street Plaza, specialising in raw food for dogs and cats, with more than 165 products in store.

“Our real emphasis is to provide natural and preservative-free products,” nutritionist Adrian Eyre said.

“I own a german shepherd who eats over 1kg of food a day, so I know how important it is to offer affordable items without compromising on quality.”

It marks Pet Mince Direct’s fourth store, alongside three others at Plainland, Brassall, and Ripley.

The store also stocks dry treats and tasty toppers – a powder which can be sprinkled on pet food and comes in several flavours including eggshell, seaweed, and surf and turf.

Pet Mince Direct is open from Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
