A SAUCY, fun and energetic style of dance hit the streets of Toowoomba over the weekend.
Street Salsa Toowoomba teamed up with George Banks Rooftop Bar and Bistro on Sunday to offer free salsa dancing lessons for all skill levels.
Social dancer Sarah Summers regularly participates in the same event at Queens Park and said she has always been drawn to the salsa and street Latin beats.
“I used to dance down towards Brisbane about 15 years ago and really loved it,” Ms Summers said.
“When we moved to Toowoomba I really was really missing it so when (organiser Richard Tomlinson) brought it to the region, I was so excited.”
Ms Summers said she often attends the Street Salsa Toowoomba events with her husband and children and everyone always had a lot of fun.
