A young mother killed in a horrific crash at Ayr has been remembered as a “beautiful” and “kind” woman.
Kellie Hounslow, 20, was killed in the Bird St crash on August 23 when her car rolled multiple times and she was flung from the wreck.
Her body was found on the roof of an industrial business hours later.
Police were called to the crash scene about 3.30am last Tuesday, but there was no sign of a driver inside the vehicle or in the area.
Officers initially started looking for Ms Hounslow, believing she may have escaped the wreck.
Hours later, police were surveying the scene in a cherry picker when they discovered her body on the roof of a nearby industrial business.
It’s understood she was flung from the car before it came to a rest on its roof just metres from a power pole.
Ms Hounslow is from Palmwoods, on the Sunshine Coast.
A tribute posted online described the mother as beautiful, kind and innocent.
The Forensic Crash Unit are still investigating what happened.
