Person treated for burns after shed fire breaks out in the Whitsundays
Paramedics have treated a person for burns after flames engulfed a Whitsundays shed and threatened surrounding grassland.
Paramedics are treating a patients for burns after a small shed was engulfed in flames in the Whitsundays on Sunday.
Fire crews were called to the Mandalay Rd property after a fire broke out about 1.25pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the flames had also spread to nearby grassland and three crews were on scene to get the fire under control.
Two occupants of the shed are accounted for with paramedics treating one person for minor burns.
The fire was out just after 2pm.
