A teen girl was taken to hospital and a major mining corridor was blocked in both directions for about 90 minutes after a vehicle ended up on its roof in the middle of a busy highway west of Mackay.
The single vehicle crash occurred about 10.30am on the Peak Downs Highway, with multiple emergency crews including fire and police called to the Strathfield site.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said it was reported as a single vehicle rollover and the vehicle was on its roof in the middle of the roadway.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said initial information incidented there were no entrapments and an occupant of the vehicle suffered some minor injuries and shock.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the incident was reported as a truck and car collision with the small vehicle rolling.
The QAS spokeswoman said a teen girl was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition with lower back pain.
The rolled vehicle had to be towed from the scene and the highway was reopened about 12pm.
