Brisbane man charged over break and enters in Whitsundays
Detectives have charged a Brisbane man over a series of alleged break and enters, including stealing cash from a safe at a tourism hotspot.

Detectives have arrested and charged a man following a number of alleged break and enters across the Whitsunday area, as police appeal to any other businesses that may have been targeted.
Police alleged the offending occurred over two days in Airlie Beach and Cannonvale.
It is alleged about 11.50pm on April 6 a man entered a Shute Harbour Road hotel at Airlie Beach, damaging a safe and stealing property from inside a parked car at the site.
It is further alleged about 2pm on April 7, a man allegedly entered a Galbraith Park Drive business in Cannonvale and accessed a safe, stealing a quantity of cash.
Police charged a 52-year-old South Brisbane man with four counts of enter premises and commit, and one count of wilful damage.
He appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court on April 11 and has been remanded in custody to reappear on May 27.
Detectives are calling for other businesses in the area that may have been targeted, or anyone with any information, to contact police. Investigations are ongoing.
