Two taken to hospital after early-morning house fire in Warwick

Five fire crews have battled a house fire in Warwick for three hours, with paramedics taking two people to hospital.

Two people were taken to hospital for suspected smoke inhalation after a structure fire in Warwick.

Queensland Fire Department crews were called to the fire at Wantley St, Warwick about 2am Wednesday morning.

A QFD spokesman said five fire and rescue crews attended and had the fire under control at about 5am.

Paramedics took two stable patients to Warwick Hospital with potential smoke inhalation.

A further two people were assessed on the scene in stable condition and did not require transport.
