It was a tough competition for family and friends of the Southern Downs’ cutest toddler nominees, with the crown going to a very brave girl with a rare medical condition who’s just faced her 60th hospital trip. Winner and runners up here.

The dozens of nominations received for the Southern Downs’ cutest toddler competition made it tough for the wider community, family and friends to crown a winner.
Taking the crown for the year’s competition was 21-month-old Daisy Stevens who has quite the following in the community, supporting her every step of the way through her medical journey.
Daisy’s mum Debby Stevens said they were very excited to hear their brave little girl had taken the crown for this year's competition, stealing their hearts since the moment she was born.
Daisy has a unique medical condition called Apert syndrome and in less than two years has faced 13 surgeries and 60 hospital trips.
Mrs Stevens said Daisy now has quite the following on her Facebook page Daisy Blooms - Apert Syndrome Awareness, with more than 1000 supporters eager to follow her journey and watch her continue to blossom.
