Revealed: Warwick streets most targeted by break-ins

As the peak time for break-ins approaches, the Daily News reveals the streets where your home is most likely to be preyed upon by thieves and burglars. Full list:

There was a significant rise in break-ins in Warwick this year, with nearly 90 residents homes broken into, many of which were located in the CBD.

The end of the year is more common for break-ins and with that peak period approaching, find out what streets Warwick homes are most often targeted.

Based on data from the Queensland Police Service, the Daily News can reveal 88 homes in Warwick were broken into between October 5, 2020 and October 4, 2021.

This is nearly a one-third increase compared to the 2019-2020 period, where just 64 offences were reported.

During June there was a significant spike in break-ins with 16 homes targeted, surpassing the previous high of 10 in February.

Monday was the most likely day for crimes to occur, with 19 Rose City homes being broken into during that 12-month period.

Break-ins and robberies were also four times more likely to occur at midnight than at any other time of day, with 7am and 6pm the next most common time slots.
