A rescue helicopter has been called after a car crashed along a rural road in the Southern Downs on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services arrived at Soldiers Settlement Rd and Verona Rd in Warroo, about 67km west of Stanthorpe, to the scene of single vehicle crash at 3.30pm, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
The car was left on its side, and a woman in her 20s is currently being treated by ambulance and helicopter paramedics on scene, he said.
The woman was later flown via LifeFlight rescue helicopter to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
