Juveniles arrested after homes allegedly broken into, man charged after alleged donation bin theft
Police have tracked down and charged a number of people across the Warwick region, including youths who police will allege broke into homes and stole vehicles. Here’s what you missed.

Three schools across the region have been targeted in the past week, while police are hot on the tail of others after with multiple people arrested recently.
Here’s what you missed in the past seven days.
BREAK AND ENTER
• Police are investigating after receiving reports that two schools in East Warwick and Glennie Heights were broken into over the weekend of February 5.
A quantity of property including tools were stolen.
A week later, on Monday morning police received information that the Prep precinct at a school in West Warwick had been entered over the weekend and damage caused by tipping rubbish bins, emptying cupboards, and writing on whiteboards with markers.
Anyone with information including CCTV of the area showing suspicious activity are asked to contact Crimestoppers or Warwick Police.
• A 30-year-old Warwick man was arrested by detectives in Palmerin St on Wednesday.
He will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on in the first week of March.
• Investigations have led to the arrest of several youths from Toowoomba and Warwick after a series of houses were allegedly broken into and vehicles stolen. Addresses targeted included Chant Drive, Rafferty Ave, and Fairway Drive in the past week.
ASSAULT
• A 21-year-old Warwick woman will appear in court facing a charge of assault occasioning bodily harm after she allegedly punched another woman in Palmerin St at about 6pm on Thursday night.
CAR THEFTS
• A Holden sedan was stolen from a business address in Albion St overnight on February 5. It is believed the keys were left in the vehicle.
TRAFFIC MATTERS
• A 27-year-old Warwick man was issued with a $495 infringement notice after doing a burnout near the corner of Ogilvie Rd and Alexandra Drive at about 6pm on February 5. He was also served with a 90 day immobilisation notice.
• Police intercepted a vehicle on Percy St at about 2.15am on Saturday morning for the purposes of breath testing the driver. As a result, a 19-year-old Warwick woman allegedly returned a reading of 0.120 and will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court in the near future.
• At about 8.30pm on Saturday night, police intercepted a Holden sedan for allegedly speeding (at 100km/h in a 60 zone) on Yangan Rd.
Police then breath tested the 26-year-old Yangan male and he allegedly returned a reading of 0.170 BAC.
Police also located two small bags containing what appeared to be cannabis and cocaine.
This person was also found in possession of a knife without lawful excuse. He will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court in March facing two charges of possessing drugs, possessing a knife in a public place and a charge of drive under the influence charge.
He was issued a $1161 Infringement notice for the speeding offence.
• A 20-year-old man from Kyoomba was intercepted driving on Cunningham Highway at Willowvale on Sunday and was subjected to a drug saliva test. As a result, he will appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court in April for drive with relevant drug in his system.
CRASH
At about 11.15pm on February 6, a single vehicle traffic crash occurred on the Cunningham Highway, Sladevale.
A 48-year-old Brassall man was transported to Warwick Hospital for treatment. Police are currently investigating whether drugs were a factor in this crash.
