Car thieves, vandals target Warwick residents, business in string of petty crimes
From the brazen strike on a Warwick workshop by vandals to a stolen car found torched on a major highway, several crimes have hit the Rose City in just a few days.

Another string of petty crime has swept through Warwick over the past several days, with multiple cars stolen or broken into and another CBD business targeted by vandals.
A 2002 Toyota Hilux was stolen from Taylor Street between 6.30pm Friday and midnight Saturday.
Warwick Police acting Senior Sergeant Cameron Slater said the car was found torched at the corner of the Cunningham Highway and Rabbit Road at Allan in the early hours of Saturday.
The hours from Sunday evening to early Monday morning proved another popular window for crime in the Rose City.
Vandals targeted Repco Warwick’s Grafton Street store in a brazen strike, smashing the front door overnight Sunday.
Senior Sergeant Slater said the offenders didn’t enter the store and no property was stolen.
A car parked on Horsman Road at Glennie Heights was also broken into some time between 8pm Sunday and 6am Monday, with coins stolen from the console.
Senior Sergeant Slater said all investigations were still ongoing, with no arrests as yet.
