THE pulsating beat of Latin American music has got Snowflakes at Stanthorpe off to a lively start.
Girls Guides, school mums and ladies of the CWA unpacked their wares and got into the serious business of wheeling-and-dealing while Lynette Torrisi took a group of early-risers through a free Zumba class at 8.15am.
Good fairy, Elise O'Brien had a candle to cast spells as she told stories while the igloo offered free kids activities.
Even at the early hour, sausages were being munched and fairy floss spun, excited kids were everywhere and mums tried to get photos of new babies with Marley the Yowie.
The fun continued with a bocce competition, costumed players from the Little Theatre and cute kids in their best snow gear well-dressed for the windy weather.
