Myrtle Nott was the winner of our letter of the week competition last week for this heartfelt letter of thanks to the staff at Warwick Hospital. Myrtle will receive a copy of the bestselling book, the Woman in the Window.

RECENTLY, we had a loved one in the Warwick hospital for a lengthy stay, until his passing.

We would like to acknowledge all the staff of the Warwick hospital for their outstanding care and support they gave Roy and all his family.

Everyone's friendliness, smiles and warmth meant so much to us at this difficult time.

The domestic staff delivered meals with a smile and a chat, always asking the family if we would like a cuppa. The wardies would greet us with a smile and guide us down the hallway as we negotiated wet floors.

The compassion and high level of care from all the nurses was nothing less than outstanding.

We will never forget their kindness and the time they took to inform the family about Roy's declining health.

It is comforting for the family that Roy was given such respect and dignity during his last stage of his life.

Warwick should be very proud of their hospital.

It is an excellent health facility, filled with compassionate and professional staff. Thank you.
