Emergency services respond to truck rollover

A truck driver has been rushed to hospital following an early morning rollover northwest of Warwick.

A man in his 50s became trapped in his vehicle after his semi-trailer rolled on Millmerran Leyburn Rd just before 6am on Monday.

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene about 6.15am, landing in a paddock near the crash site.

The man was assessed at the scene and was freed from the wreckage by emergency crews just after 7am, and was then flown to Toowoomba Hospital with “superficial laceration injuries to his head”, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed.
