Queensland police are investigating what caused a truck carrying frozen goods to rollover off the Cunningham Highway.

It’s understood emergency services were alerted to the incident near Fosters Rd at Coolamunda just after 8pm on Wednesday.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said when crews arrived the driver was already out of the vehicle.

The QFD spokesman said the B-double, which had frozen goods on board, was believed to be travelling north towards Warwick.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics transported a stable male patient to Inglewood Hospital for observation.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the heavy vehicle remained on the side of the road and would be towed away later today.

The QPS spokeswoman said investigations are ongoing.
