A DRIVER who reportedly ended up in a ditch on the New England Highway this morning left the scene before emergency services were on scene.
The Queensland Ambulance Service travelled to the scene after a 6.32am report that a vehicle had ended up in a ditch on the New England Highway 500m north of the Accommodation Creek Bridge at Ballandean.
"No one was there when we arrived on scene," a QAS spokeswoman said.
It is believed a truck driver pulled over to assist the man who was driving the car and he said he was okay.
Stanthorpe police said the car was registered to a Tenterfield driver.
"The vehicle is off the road and there was no major damage," he said.
Police placed stickers on the car to inform passing motorists that they were aware of the vehicle.
