BREAKING: Two vehicle smash-up on major Warwick road

PARAMEDICS are assessing an elderly man for injuries after a two-vehicle crash on a major Warwick road.

The man was travelling south on the New England highway when a ute collided with the back of his car at the intersection on Bracker Rd.

Police, paramedics and fire fighters rushed to the crash around 8:30 this morning.

There were no additional passengers in the vehicles when they smashed into one another.

The elderly man was assessed on site, but is in a conscious and stable condition with no apparent injuries.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
