A TikTok starlet with an 83,000-strong following is using her social media presence to market her OnlyFans account with what she claims is earning success.

The OnlyFans content creator is well on her way to earning six figures after already making more than $91,000 this year and has revealed the social media hacks she has discovered to keep her following strong.

However, she has also highlighted the dark side of online content creation and the toll it can take on mental health.

Tara Grace said she joined OnlyFans after she turned 21, during the Covid-19 pandemic, but was not serious about the platform at first.

“I wasn’t too shy about my body and I enjoyed taking those type of photos myself,” she said.

She was also using TikTok and other social media platforms with a smaller following.

Ms Grace, who uses the social media handle @tarzgrace, said she was only using TikTok for fun at first.

“I don’t think I had a video go viral for a long time and when one did go viral I think I got 800,000 views on it,” she said.

The content creator said that first viral video was a trend about ex-partners.

She said a second TikTok piece went viral and following those videos, she also attracted more subscriptions to her OnlyFans page.

“That’s when it clicked, I can use those two (platforms) together,” Ms Grace said.

The content creator said it was a myth that those in her line of work did not work full-time and she also hired an accountant to ensure she was paying her tax correctly.

“We have to constantly provide our customers with something they want for them to come back,” she said.

Ms Grace said she was a fan of the “free the nipple movement” and the naysayers did not bother her but having a constant online presence did take a toll on her mental health.

The content creator said she could not afford to step away from social media because it would affect her income.

“I feel like it is a bit of a downside,” she said.

“Sometimes I really would just like to go overseas and throw my phone in my suitcase and just not have to look at and reconnect with everyone around me and nature and stuff.

“But I just can’t do that.”

She said stopping for even few days could cost her thousands of dollars.

Ms Grace said that “while the money is easy” she would continue to use the platforms, but she was also passionate about cars and had thoughts of doing a mechanical apprenticeship.

Her tips for success for social media marketing are to follow trends.

“Don’t feel bad if you see something and you sort of copy that a little bit because to be honest there’s probably thousands of other people using that exact trend to get followers,” Ms Grace said.

She said do not be afraid “to make a joke” and be yourself and to be consistent and constant in content creation.

“Don’t be shy,” Ms Grace said.

“People will come to your business for you.”
