THE 27 Club is an ode to the musicians who burned too bright and left our world too soon.

For one night only at Noosa Arts Theatre on Tuesday, November 7, at 8pm, this production features rousing and haunting arrangements of the great songs of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain.

It stars Zack Anthony Curran (Fiddler on the Roof, A Lie of the Mind), Keane Fletcher (We Will Rock You, The Ten Tenors) and Andrew Kroenert (Jesus Christ Superstar, Dream Lover).

The Tap Pack

AFTER playing to sold- out houses and rave reviews around the country and the world, Australia's newest and hottest tap dance sensation The Tap Pack is coming to the Coast.

It plays The J, Noosa, on November 9 at 7.30pm, and The Events Centre, Caloundra, on November 10 at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.

The Tap Pack offers a modern twist to the crooners and artists from the '50s through to the Noughties.

Calendar Girls

SUNSHINE Coast women feature on stage and on the page in The Lind's production of the popular play Calendar Girls and in a special fundraiser for Queensland Cancer Council.

Calendar Girls is based on a true story of a group of dynamic women who bare all - or nearly all - for charity and become international celebrities.

As a result of sales of their alternative Women's Institute Calendar and due to the popularity of the film and the play, the many Calendar Girls over the years have raised more than $8 million for Cancer Research.

With Andrew Clasohm, of Creative Persona Photography, The Lind's ladies have produced a delightful calendar, on sale before each show, with all profits going to Queensland Cancer Council.

Performances are at The Lind, Nambour, from November 10-18.
