A rugby union leader says participation in the junior ranks remains strong on the Sunshine Coast.
Sunshine Coast Rugby Union rugby manager Mike Aronsten said the grand finals on August 27, 2022, were a culmination of a successful season.
“We had a 20 per cent increase in numbers last year, and we held those numbers, which is pleasing to us,” he said.
There was a strong turnout in the Sunshine Coast Stadium stands too as spectators showed up to cheer the players on.
