Six arrested after alleged road rage ramming in Maroochydore
A road rage incident has escalated dramatically on the Sunshine Coast, with six arrests made after an alleged ramming attack.
Six people have been arrested after a car was allegedly rammed on the Sunshine Coast.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police were notified of a traffic incident in Maroochydore about 2.30pm on Wednesday, December 10.
Police will allege a red Volkswagen rammed another vehicle at a facility near Maroochydore Rd before it fled the area.
Shortly afterwards, officers attended an address on Kingsford Smith Ave where they arrested six people.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said one woman in her 40s was taken to hospital in a stable condition after an “alleged assault”.
The six people are now assisting police with their inquiries, and investigations are continuing.
