SEVERAL big-ticket commercial properties have sold across the Sunshine Coast during the past six months with demand expected to stay strong.

A STRING of seven multi-million dollar commercial property sales have been transacted in the first half of 2016 as investors look north to improve returns.
The big ticket sales by CBRE Sunshine Coast followed its November 2015 sale of Coolum Park Shopping Centre for $19,750,000 on behalf of vendors CPSC Pty Ltd.
That was followed in January by the sale for $4,760,000 of the Westpac-tenanted 1 Arcadia Street, Noosa, for vendor Timothy Adams Berry.
31 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba owned by J Melville Investments No. 3 Pty Ltd, and with Jetts Fitness as a tenant sold in February for $3,500,000 .
In March the surfside 1/8Levuka Avenue Kings Beach restaurant/bar strip saw $4,150,000 achieved for vendor Dugbor Property Pty Ltd.
Key Noosa commercial real estate holding Noosa Junction Plaza secured $16,000,000 in April for Foodland Properties Pty Ltd.
12 Amaroo Street and 6 and 8 Pikki Street Maroochydore previously held by Wellington Property Management Limited achieved $3,900,000 in June.
Also in June 69 Maud Street, Maroochydore, which was previously owned by RBC Investment Management Pty Ltd, went for $4,675,000.
1 Innovation Parkway Birtinya, known as Kawana House, secured $10,812,000 in July for Kawana Developments Pty Ltd with settlement successfully concluded on August 8.
