QUEENSLAND'S Plantation Homes is the first builder to open its doors at the picturesque Harmony display world in Palmview.

Three brand-new display homes are showcasing the latest in Queensland living at the master-planned Harmony community at the gateway to the central Sunshine Coast.

Plantation Homes marketing manager Amanda Reilly said they would also open three more display homes at Harmony within a month, which will soon be the Sunshine Coast's largest display village.

"We're so excited to offer six addresses of the latest interior, exterior and floorplan inspiration, specifically created to reflect the appeal of the Sunshine Coast region.

"All located within one easy to visit location, we hope home buyers can visit us to compare and consider the latest options and ideas, with access to a diverse and inspiring collection of homes and styles on-site.''

Harmony has also already achieved the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) EnviroDevelopment six-leaf rating, the first and only master-planned community in South East Queensland to do so, and boasts over 100 hectares of open space dedicated for residents to enjoy, maximised solar orientation and an emphasis on native vegetation.

"We're excited to deliver design inspiration alongside development innovation and look forward to watching the community come together and celebrate the unique Sunshine Coast way of life," she said.

Plantation Homes' six display homes will be part of the 43-strong display village in Palmview, situated only one hour from Brisbane.

Located just off the Bruce Highway, Palmview boasts a number of existing schools and is only minutes from the University of the Sunshine Coast, as well as the new healthcare precinct in Kawana.

"When customers are deciding which home is perfect for their family, there is no better experience than to walk through a display home, looking at the suite of options available and talking to the new home consultants on site," she said.

"We've carefully considered the designs on display to complement the way of life in the region, and residents will enjoy the tropical tranquillity of the hinterland and the unspoiled beauty of the beaches, with access to shopping, schools and healthcare facilities in a home that provides open plan living and generous outdoor areas."
