A Sunshine Coast man has faced court after allegedly stabbing two men with a screwdriver during a brutal daytime brawl at a pub and nearby train station.

A daylight pub brawl escalated to an alleged brutal stabbing spree, leaving two men in hospital as a Beerburrum man faced serious assault charges in court.
Tyson Tapaka W A Avery Didsman appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday, charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed after an alleged double stabbing in the Glass House Mountains.
According to police, the 22-year-old allegedly attacked a man with a screwdriver during a brawl at the Glasshouse Tavern on Reed Street on October 9.
Mr Avery Didsman then allegedly fled to a nearby train station, where he reportedly attacked another man with the screwdriver, believed to be connected to the original fight.
Emergency services responded to the scene at about 3.30pm, rushing the two Glass House Mountains men to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment.
One of the victims reportedly required surgery.
Mr Avery Didsman was taken into custody near the train station.
He is due to reappear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on November 8, where he has yet to enter any pleas.
