Emergency crews at car, caravan crash on Bruce Hwy in Coochin Creek

A caravan has rolled on a major highway south of the Sunshine Coast.

Emergency crews were called to the crash about 5.45pm Thursday evening, after a car and caravan rolled on the southbound lanes of the Bruce Hwy at Coochin Creek.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said traffic control was taking place and police were on their way.

He said the driver was out of the car.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were travelling to the crash scene.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a single stable person was looked over but declined transport.
