A woman in her 40s has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after her car collided with a truck at Nambour.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Bli Bli Rd and Coronation Ave, Nambour, at 1.26pm Friday, May 5 to reports of the serious crash.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a woman was pulled from the wreckage and was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
She suffered possible abdominal and chest injuries, she said.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the woman was freed at 1.45pm.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the Forensic Crash Unit had been called to the scene also.
There were no reports of traffic being affected, he said.
