Taps on prison phone calls have allegedly revealed an accused’s Sunshine Coast cocaine dealer’s ambitions to “f---ing do bad damage” if he was released on bail as well as taunts against police.

Calls made through Arunta Prisoner Telephone System by Kim Andrew White, 48, allegedly revealed “explicit, detailed, and targeted threats to recover hidden guns, shoot rivals [and] assault people for revenge” amongst barbs to police, according to prosecution submissions in opposition to his release on bail earlier this year.

“I’ll f---ing do bad damage when I get home, mate,” White Snr allegedly says on jailhouse calls to his son Marshall Andrew White, 21.

“I’ll f---ing whether I’m on bail or not mate.

“Do they know we’ve got more guns than one the f---heads?”

The telephone calls, relied on by the prosecution during White Snr’s Supreme Court bail application in Brisbane earlier this year, formed their argument as to why he should remain in custody on remand following his arrest on May 21, 2024.

Police allege the Meridan Plains father and his 21-year-old son ran a “multimillion dollar” cocaine business on the Sunshine Coast, where they used a number of individuals to sell their products while supplying others for their own uses.

In amongst the calls, which featured allegations of bashings, hidden cash and revenge, White Snr was heard taunting police according to prison call transcripts.

“F---ing spastic f---s. And if you cops are listening, you can eat a f---ing dick you d--s.

“F---ing muts, you wait until I get out ... I’m gonna do my full time.

“You f---ing dogs. And you just can f---ing eat a dick when I come home.

“Think I f---ing made money before c---, you wait until you see what I make this time.

“Give 20 years c---. I don’t give a f---. I’m gonna take the $10m that’s f---ing buried c--- and youse can kiss my ass.”

White Snr was previously refused bail on June 6 last year in the higher court however the new application was able to be heard due to a delay in the brief of evidence.

In court documents exclusively obtained by this publication, the prison calls gathered by police were tendered in an affidavit prepared by the Queensland Director of Public Prosecutions.

In their tendered outline of submissions, the prosecution claimed the alleged “explicit threats” made by White Snr on these prison calls “greatly aggravated” the risks posed by the 48-year-old if he was released on bail.

The prosecution referenced a number of alleged statements by the White Snr where they claim he specifically threatened to shoot people “whether or not he’s on bail” and to try and harm someone’s associates while they are in prison.

In defence submissions written by the 48-year-old’s solicitor Alexander Jones, he stated White Snr could abide by strict bail conditions and questioned the strength of the police case. He also submitted there would be significant court delays until at least 2026.

Mr Jones said White Snr did not accept the interpretations in relation to a number of “examples” in the police material.

The Meridan Plains father had also engaged in drug rehab while on remand, according to the defence affidavit.

His defence barrister, during his bail application, argued the prison phone calls were just “bravado” and claimed there was “no history” of him acting in the way he spoke.

Justice Soraya Ryan however found the prison phone calls in her view provided “accurate and reliable evidence of the applicant’s attitude to his offending and to criminal conduct more generally”.

“It is an attitude to violence … that is cavalier, it is normalised. There’s no ‘mate how you feel’ it’s ‘mate let me tell you what we’re going to do in retaliation’,” Justice Ryan said of one of the prison phone calls. She refused White Snr bail.

He faces a dozen charges including three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two of trafficking in dangerous drugs and one count each of receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying and unlawful possession of weapons

His son faces 14 charges including four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two of trafficking dangerous drugs and receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying, and one count each of possessing anything used in the commission of crime and unlawful possession of weapons. He was bailed last year with his matters still before the courts.

No pleas have been entered by the pair. Both men will have their matters mentioned in Maroochydore Magistrates Court again on May 12.
