Photo gallery: Sunshine Coast 2024 prep students start school life

Hundreds of preps began their schooling journey this morning and the Sunshine Coast Daily was there to capture the emotion of their first morning. SEE THE PHOTOS

More than 43,000 students are entering their prep year across Queensland in 2024.

At Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, six classes of prep students began their school lives at 8.30am when the first bell rang for class.

Four-year-old Mila Baldry said she was looking forward to “playing” the most during her first day.
