Government displays despicable behaviour toward island

What the Government is putting the Norfolk Islanders through in the interest of securing ocean and undersea resources for multinational mates is despicable.

WHILE people here on the Sunshine Coast worry themselves about not being able to go to beach due to cyclonic activity spare a thought for the people of Norfolk Island who since the Australian Government's illegal annexation and ruination of their hospital facilities have the worry of life-threatening situations for their loved ones.

As of January 23 because of bad weather associated with Cyclone Oma there were three people awaiting 'medivac' transfers to Australia, one with a broken leg, one with a cardiac problem and one child with appendicitis.

Before the Australian Government takeover these medical issues could have been taken care of on Norfolk Island.

What the Australian Government is putting the Norfolk Islanders through in the interest of securing ocean and undersea resources for their multinational mates is despicable.
