Don't miss out on the headlines from Sunshine Coast. Followed categories will be added to My News.
When it comes to education on the Sunshine Coast there is a plethora of state and private education facilities for parents to choose from.
With private schools alone, there are 21 campuses offering Year 12 education and 23 offering education from prep and Year 1.
The prices vary significantly for a private education too, with each offering a range of opportunities, resources and technology.
For example, St Andrews Anglican College, which has the second most expensive fees for Year 12 behind Matthew Flinders Anglican College, has poured plenty of money into upgrading their campus of late.
“In the past five years we have spent $26m on a new Learning Hub and Aquatic Centre,” principal, Rev Chris Ivey said.
“In the next five years, our college masterplan will continue to see us able to resource the growing needs of our students and community, and we will spend more than $40m on underground parking, synthetic playing fields and a performing arts complex.”
In a bid to shed further light on what parents can expect to get for their money, the Dailyhas taken a look at the top 10 most expensive private educations in the region.
