Man in his 20s rescued after fall on Mt Beerwah
Dramatic footage shows the moment a rescue chopper winched an injured hiker to safety after falling while climbing Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains.

An injured hiker has been flown to safety after falling 15 metres while climbing Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains on Thursday.
The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew was called to the scene at 1.24pm after the man, aged in his 20s, fell while climbing the main trail.
Emergency services, including Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and paramedics, initially responded to assist the man, who reportedly broke his ankle in the fall.
A Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic was winched down from the rescue helicopter to assess the injured hiker.
After receiving treatment on-site, the man was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
