The car crashed into the Chook Shop at Mooloolaba on Saturday while there were customers inside.
Earlier this week, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman confirmed the crash.

“The driver of the vehicle was transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

No charges have been laid in relation to the incident and a police investigation continues.
On Tuesday, a Sunshine Coast Health spokeswoman confirmed the 37-year-old woman was in a stable condition.
A video of the crash was posted to a Sunshine Coast Instagram page overnight with the caption “must be good chicken”.
