A BUILDING group have relocated their business to Coolum to accommodate for increased demand, securing a four-year lease of an industrial facility.

The deal was struck by Peter Capps of Savills, with the lease of the property located at 35 Access Crescent worth about $120,000 net per annum plus GST.

The relocation has come to house the joinery division of Cooper Small Pty Ltd, with Cabinetry QLD recently having completed the Strike Bowling venue in Big Top, Maroochydore.

Savills leasing executive Peter Capps said the building group have tripled their warehouse size and operation in the past three years, and are looking to align themselves with similar projects to the Strike Bowling fitout.

The leased property features 1309sq m of warehouse space on a total 2073sq m site, plus two container-height roller shutters, 118sq m comprised of three offices and a boardroom, securely fenced property with on-site car parking.

Cooper Small have also been appointed to complete the refurbishment of the PPI Funds Management owned Nambour Central Shopping Centre.

Cooper Small managing director Beau Small said the appointment is an integral step for the company to take, as a statement of the company's continued growth and establishment in the field.

"Cooper Small have experienced rapid growth and an on-going demand for local and national contracts which we have been awarded,

"Our aim is to deliver real value to our clients, and develop long lasting relationships. We are a versatile construction group, our clients gain from our diverse approach," Mr Small said.

The refurbishment of the Nambour Central Shopping Centre is predicted to cost an estimated $2.4million.

Mr Small said the project has been welcomed by local residents and will add to the town's appeal, encouraging locals and tourists to visit the centre and spend locally.

"These projects are a true testament to what our brand represents,

"It is an indication of what can be achieved when we work collaboratively to create what the clients have envisaged, and deliver upon their expectations," Mr Small said.
