A STATE-OF-THE-ART home in Stockland's Aura has hit the market to serve a "special" one-off purpose.

The architecturally-designed house located in Baringa will see more than $200,000 raised for destitute communities in Kenya.

A partnership between Hutchinson Builders, Coronis and charity Mission 58, the house will fund a project to bring clean running water to 5000 people living in severe poverty in Kiamichi.

A system of wells will ease the burden on the village and stop hundreds of women and children from walking hours each day to gather water.

Hutchinson Builders' Michael Mitchell said the project was bigger than themselves.

"It is very rewarding to work for a cause like this, it will add value and help people for years to come," Mr Beytell said.

"It will change their lives for generations. To help out these people in severe poverty gave us a great sense of purpose.

"Every subbie who got involved or participated often mentioned how great working for a cause like this is.

"We believe Aura is an emerging market with great demand and offers infrastructure appealing to a diverse range both investors and owners."

The house, at 19 Emerson St, Baringa, went live on realestate.com.au earlier this week.

Mission 58 founder Simone Leslie said the vision for the Aura project was to break the poverty cycle in one of the world's most destitute communities.

"This project is quite special, because the profits from the sale of the property will have a two-fold benefit," Ms Leslie said.

"Not only will it enable us to supply a sustainable water source to this community, but it will release hundreds of women and children from walking up to six hours a day to gather water.

"We're beyond grateful to the more than 30 suppliers and sponsors who have helped make this project a reality."
