A woman has been flown to hospital following a serious crash at Goondiwindi on Friday morning.
A woman in 30s suffered “serious” injuries and was entrapped within her vehicle after colliding with a tree on the Leichhardt Highway near Goondiwindi just after 8am.
It’s believed the vehicle had veered off the highway and crashed into a tree.
The woman suffered chest and leg injuries, and was freed from the wreckage and transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a “serious but stable” condition around 10.15am Friday, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed.
The incident comes only days after a man suffers abdominal injuries after crashing on creek bed at Ellangowan on Monday.
The man was also flown to Toowoomba Hospital.
