Man suffers abdominal injuries after crashing on creek bed at Ellangowan
A man has been flown to hospital after the car he was driving crashed into a creek bed on a rural road.

A RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was dispatched to an isolated country road after a man crashed into a creek bed.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Toowoomba Karara Rd near the Booligar Rd intersection about 10am on Monday after reports the man had driven off the bridge and into the creek bed.
The motorist had reportedly lost control of his ute while driving along a bridge, causing him to crash into the barrier and down an embankment.
#Ellangowan - The rescue helicopter is attending a single-vehicle crash approx 10 metres down an embankment on Booligar Road and Toowoomba Karara Road at 10.03am. One patient with abdominal injuries is being treated at the scene.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the initial report stated the man fell about 10m but was able to self-extricate the vehicle.
He has suffered an abdominal injury.
The crash has also caused significant damage to the bridge and Queensland Department of
Transport and Main Roads engineers have been called in to assess it.
The LifeFlight pilot landed on a stretch of road, near the scene of the crash, where the aeromedical crew met with QAS paramedics to treat the patient for minor injuries.
He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
