UPDATE 6:00PM: A MALE and female in their 50s have been transported to Warwick Hospital with minor chest injuries after a three vehicle crash on the New England Highway around 3:24pm Monday afternoon involving two cars and a truck.
A spokesperson from Stanthorpe Police alleged a driver headed southbound attempted to make a right hand turn into Browns Rd, north of Dalveen, when the second car crashed into it's rear, pushing the first car into an oncoming truck headed northbound.
Paramedics assessed four people at the scene before transporting the driver and passenger of the first vehicle to Warwick Hospital for further assessment.
The male truck driver and female car driver did not need to be transported to hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said two people had been transported to Warwick Hospital in stable conditions.
Emergency services were called to the three-vehicle crash on the New England Highway, near Brown Rd, about 3.24pm.
The highway was closed for about an hour, but has since reopened.
