A woman has been airlifted to Toowoomba after falling from a horse at a South Burnett property and sustaining serious injuries.

A woman has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after falling from a horse on a South Burnett property on Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews were called to a private property at Nanango to treat a woman in her 40s with hand, abdominal and pelvic injuries after she fell off a horse at around 9am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

The woman was taken to Nanango Hospital before she was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a serious condition.
