Elderly woman injured in Kingaroy Street crash, taken to hospital

A two vehicle crash at a busy intersection in the South Burnett on Friday afternoon left two people hospitalised.

An elderly woman was hospitalised after a two vehicle crash at a busy intersection in the South Burnett on Friday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the accident near the intersection of Kingaroy Street and Avoca Street at 12.47pm.

Paramedics assessed two patients at the scene, with one person declining transport to hospital by ambulance and later driven by private transport.

An elderly woman with minor injuries was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in an ambulance in a stable condition.
