Three motocross riders were flown to hospital following separate accidents at a recreational park in South Burnett on Saturday involving two young men and a teenage boy who “suffered a significant leg injury”.
A male rider in his 20s suffered a serious foot injury after a collision with another rider at the Manar Park Recreation Area in Boondooma.
A teenage male, the second patient, sustained a broken leg while “crashing over a jump”.
Both incidents occurred shortly before 9am Saturday.
The pair received medical attention from a RACQ LifeFlight critical care doctor and the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic before they were flown in stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A LifeFlight spokesperson said before leaving the hospital, the crew was dispatched again to the same recreational park for another emergency.
A teenage male had suffered a head injury and was flown to LifeFlight’s Toowoomba base before being transported by road to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
