Truck sideswipes caravan in Nanango causing “significant damage”

Two drivers have miraculously come out unscathed after a crash between a truck and a car towing a caravan.

The driver of a caravan had a lucky escape in Nanango on Saturday morning after reportedly crashing with a truck.

Multiple emergency services were called to the scene of the King Street accident at roughly 9am.

Reports indicate the caravan being towed by a car was sideswiped, with a Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman saying there was “significant damage” to the car and caravan combination.

Miraculously, no one was injured as a result of the incident and Queensland Ambulances Service was stood down from attending the scene.

The truck is reported to still be in a drivable condition.

It’s understood the matter will now be in the hands of insurance companies, with the drivers exchanging details over the incident.
