Joshua Mark Skvaridlo in court for new child sexual offences

A man convicted of raping a 17-year-old girl and sexually groping a 12-year-old has fronted court yet again.

A convicted rapist and child sexual abuser from the South Burnett was sentenced for new crimes by the Kingaroy District Court on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

Joshua Mark Skvaridlo, 39, pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16.

The Ballogie man has a history of sexual crimes.

He previously served time for raping a 17-year-old girl and was convicted of sexually groping a 12-year-old in 2014.

In 2022, he was charged with failing to report three instances of contact with children between April 2021 and January 2022, and failing to inform police when he stayed at his girlfriend’s house.

Judge Glen Cash sentenced Skvaridlo to two years jail.
