A Judge has been left shocked by a repeat drink driving offender who was found driving more than five times the legal blood alcohol limit. DETAILS:

A Kingaroy judge has blasted a repeat drink driver who was found driving with an insane blood alcohol level.

Jason Allan Law faced Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday, May 10, and pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of liquor and driving while SPER suspended.

Police intercepted Law on the Bunya Highway in Wooroolin at 11.30pm on April 6.

It was discovered he was driving on a licence that had been SPER suspended since February 22.

Law also returned a BAC reading of 0.265.

Magistrate Andrew Sinclair was less than impressed with the grain mill worker.

“It’s an enormously high reading, many people would be passed out at that level,” Magistrate Sinclair said.

“(It‘s your) third drink drive – even though they’re not recent, it’s concerning that you’re continuing to drink and drive.

“It’s fine if you want to wrap yourself around a tree, but it’s other people I’m mainly concerned about.”

Law was sentenced to 12 months probation.

His licence was also suspended for 18 months for the drink driving charge, and three months for driving with a SPER suspended licence.
